Where he goes....
The first 'author visit' Bob made was to a small village school in Derbshire in 1981.
Since then he's travelled all over the UK - (and occasionally abroad) visiting infant schools, junior schools, middle and secondary schools, art colleges and universities.
He's been to special schools, schools for the visually impared, youth clubs, and young offenders institutions.
He's run workshops at book festivals and conferences; for children, teachers, and would be writers.
He's given talks in theatres, libraries and bookshops - and on one memorable occasion in a disused equipment shed in a Birmingham park in the middle of an electric thunderstorm.

What he does....
... varies, depending onthe age of the 'audience', how big the group and so on.
